Gulf Coast Bridal Faire
Gulf Coast Bridal Faire
Cake samples, recycled weddings and even a “man cave”
When planning a wedding you want to be able to meet the people behind the services you seek. While online resources are plentiful in this day and age, nothing quite compares to a face-to-face meeting with your service provider. The solution, bridal shows. The Gulf Coast Bridal Faire in Fort Walton Beach was held in the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Jan. 29, 2017 for local brides or those pursuing a coastal wedding.
Hundreds of brides accompanied by their significant other, bridesmaids or family members, were able to talk with a diverse variety of vendors encompassing the region. Eye-catching and interactive booths ranged from bakers to photographers to DJ’s and florists. Northwest Florida Weddings Magazine was in attendance to give away copies of our magazine and inform brides of the vast service options available throughout the region.
Delectable cake samples were plentifully passed while models showcasing designer gowns continuously circled the event space. A cute touch was the “Man Cave” where grooms could escape the color swatches and flower selections for a breather.
Another unique aspect was the recycle and repurpose booth. This allowed Mrs.’s to donate their gently used gowns, accessories, centerpieces, décor and more to soon-to-be brides. The prices were at a fraction of the original cost.
Many brides opted to attend the panel of experts event offering complimentary consultations and industry tips for planning. Many sales were made as a result and brides left with the comfort of secured services and a peace of mind when planning.
