Brides-to-Be Flock to Bricks & Brass’ ‘A Wedding Experience’

On Sunday, Aug. 11, Four Points by Sheraton hosted their fifth annual wedding showcase at their new venue, Bricks & Brass. The event, A Wedding Experience, treated the soon-to-wed and their guests to an afternoon of cocktails, delicious food and wedding expertise from Tallahassee’s Top Wedding Vendors.

Four Points kicked off the occasion with a formal viewing and cocktail hour where couples savored delicious appetizers, such as mini chicken-and-waffle bites and boursin-stuffed cherry tomatoes while drinking mimosas and perusing Bricks & Brass’ ballroom and outdoor patio. Guests walked through a fully decorated outdoor ceremony space designed and outfitted by Terri Smith Details, as well as a full reception space designed and decorated by A Piece of Cake Event Planning, A Country Rose and others.

Guests were able to enjoy a ‘Find the Vendor’ scavenger hunt that assisted in connecting guests with vendors. They also took advantage of fun, prop-filled photos at the photobooth by Smiley in Style Events and tried delicious cake samples from Katie’s Cakes & Catering. Amplify Entertainment’s DJ provided music throughout the event and ended the afternoon by leading a challenging game of Wedding Trivia, with the winning team receiving goody bags and prizes.

The event successfully showed brides a different and fun way to shop for wedding vendors.

“It was great really getting to know each bride, what their needs are for their special day, and help with any questions they might not know to ask,” said Kendyl Smith, the Catering & Events Manager of Four Points by Sheraton and Bricks & Brass.
