The Wedding Suite Makes Wedding Planning Sweet at Annual Show

On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center will become a wedding wonderland with access to over 50 of North Florida and South Georgia’s premier wedding vendors at the Tallahassee Wedding and Event Expo.

For couples, friends and families planning a Northwest Florida wedding, this wedding expo ensures inspiration and offerings aplenty.

A unique and highly anticipated feature of this expo will be the beautifully themed galleries that are decorated to provide style guides to decorate your own wedding.

Attendees can meet and greet a variety of vendors including: caterers, venue reps, wedding dress boutiques, photographers, videographers, florists, makeup and hair stylists, DJ’s and more.

Some notable vendors include: Social Catering, Amplified Entertainment, A Country Rose, A Piece of Cake Event Planning, Belle Femmes, Fairytale Event Rentals, Terry Smith, Charlotte Fristoe Photography and more.

At 3 p.m., the latest bridal fashions will parade the stage in a fashion show featuring White Weddings, Absolute Haven and Formals by Vince.

This year, local celebrity and former WCTV anchorwoman Anna Johnson will provide commentary for the fashion show.

Presenting the expo will be The Wedding Suite, which specializes in providing a space where brides can meet with vendors without the hassle of traveling around town — a philosophy they carry over to the wedding expo.

General admission is $12, but there are a limited number of $50 VIP tickets remaining.

VIP tickets include gifts and discounts exceeding $50, reserved seating for the fashion show and free drink tickets.

“Our hope is that couples have a fun experience finding their vendors,” says Annette McGuffey, owner of The Wedding Suite, “whether they are newly engaged and need to find all of their vendors — or are at the end of their planning just seeking the perfect missing pieces.”
