The Best Celebrity Weddings of 2018

By Samantha De Oliveira

We have some major wedding inspiration after this past year’s celebrity nuptials. It seemed like everyone got married in 2018. From quick engagements to 10-year relationships, the weddings of our favorite celebrities (some many of us had waited years for) took place.

As the year went by, we saw not one but two royal weddings, and the past 12 months had their share of celebrations — from simple, backyard weddings to weeklong parties. Incredible locations, major designers and star-studded guest lists were the icing on the cake this year.

We saw many trends among these celebrities, but the most common was opting for more low-key, secret ceremonies. Some kept with tradition, and others celebrated their love for one another with loved ones. From small gatherings of 80 to televised events, we round up the best celebrity weddings of 2018.

A Royal Wedding for the history books. American actress Meghan Markle joined the royal family after her highly televised wedding ceremony to Prince Harry. The Duchess worked with the new artistic director of Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller, to create a clean modern look for her wedding day. She also wore a tiara borrowed from the Queen, and her bouquet was made up of a few different flowers, some of which Prince Harry picked from their private garden.
