What We Loved This Week: October 28-November 3

Aisle Rugs

As someone who thrives in antique and thrift stores, I have always had a soft spot for ornate oriental rugs. I love the idea of utilizing them in weddings as ways to add vibrant pops of print and color. Especially, for outdoor weddings; line them as an aisle way, stand on one at the altar, use them to make a dance floor, put one under the cake table, the options are endless.

An Elegant Take on Getting Ready Wear

While floral robes and matching pajamas are super popular. I loved this lace robe that makes for not only a beautiful cover-up while getting ready but also a robe you can use on your honeymoon to accompany any lingerie you were gifted at your bridal shower or bachelorette party.

Food Wedding Favors

Nothing says true love like picking up a pretzel on your way back to the hotel after the reception. Maybe this is just me, but I’d rather get a wedding favor that is something I can eat and enjoy in the moment rather than another koozie or something with someone else’s initials on them. One of my friends did this for their wedding and the pretzel came in these adorable little bags you can get on Etsy!

Showstopper Cakes

Are you a little bit extra? Don’t worry; we all are in some way! This wedding cake {almost} looks too good to eat! Your wedding dessert is something that everyone has their eyes on by the end of the night, so make it a stunning addition to your day! This show stopper cake could even be the inspo for the rest of your decor!
